the New Crescent of the Month of Thi al-Qi'eda 1429

 

To All believers in North America:

Peace & Blessings upon all of you

 

The Crescent Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars in North America would like to announce that at sunset on Wednesday October 29th 2008, the new crescent was not seen. Also there has been no astronomical prediction of it being seen. Thus Thursday October 30th, 2008 is the last day of the month of Shawal. And Friday October 31st, 2008 is going to be the first day of Thi al-Qi'eda 1429.

We pray that all your moments in this month pass with the remembrance of Allah, the Almighty.
